Our Story

From Waste to Worth: The KALTANI Journey

This is our story. And we’re just getting started.

KALTANI was born from a bold idea:
What if waste wasn’t a problem—but a solution?

In a world where landfills grow taller and oceans grow dirtier, we saw a different future—one where Nigeria leads the charge toward circularity, turning yesterday’s trash into tomorrow’s opportunity. Our journey began with plastic. But what we quickly realized was this: the waste crisis is bigger than plastic—and so is the solution. That’s why we built KALTANI as more than a recycling company. We’ve grown into a clean-tech powerhouse tackling all forms of waste—from electronic and organic to medical, rubber, glass, and beyond. Our systems are designed to not only clean the environment but also uplift communities, create jobs, and unlock new climate finance opportunities through plastic and carbon credits. We set up waste aggregation hubs in underserved communities—training and employing local people, especially women. Today, KALTANI isn’t just solving a waste problem. We’re creating a future where clean air, green jobs, and zero waste aren’t dreams—they’re deliverables.
