The melt flow indexer is the most popular device in the plastic industry to determine material viscosities and is often used to test batch-to-batch consistence.

This instrument is not only suitable for the test of low melting temperature plastics such as Polyethylene, Polypropylene, Polystyrene and ABS resin, but also suitable for the test of engineering plastics such as polycarbonate, fluoroplastics and nylon with high melting temperature.
